Refund and Returns Policy

Effective date: 2 November 2026

1. Contact us about a return

Email info@more4you.co.za or call 087 822 2155 with your order number, the item concerned and the outcome you are requesting. Photographs, packaging and batch or expiry details can help us investigate, but lack of original packaging or photographs will not automatically invalidate a statutory claim. Contact us to arrange return or disposal of food. Do not consume suspected unsafe goods.

2. Cancel before fulfilment

For standard goods, you may cancel with a full refund before we collect the goods from the supplier or start candy assembly. After that point, contact us to assess the applicable cancellation or return rights. This voluntary policy does not shorten any statutory cancellation right. Custom-order terms must be agreed in the quote and may not impose an unlawful blanket forfeiture.

3. Change of mind after receipt

Where section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act applies, you may cancel without giving a reason within seven days after receiving the goods. Only the direct cost of returning the goods may be charged, and qualifying payments must be refunded within 30 days after cancellation.

That statutory cooling-off right has exceptions, including qualifying everyday food or beverage deliveries to a home or workplace, genuinely personalised goods, and goods that cannot be returned by their nature or deteriorate rapidly. We assess the actual goods and transaction; we do not apply a blanket “no returns on food” rule. We may decline discretionary change-of-mind returns of opened food for hygiene reasons, but this does not remove rights concerning defective, unsafe or incorrect goods.

4. Faulty, unsafe, damaged or incorrect goods

Tell us promptly if goods are unsafe, defective, damaged, expired when supplied, or materially different from what you ordered. Prompt reporting helps us investigate food and delivery problems; it is not a 24-hour limit on your legal rights.

Where the Consumer Protection Act applies, qualifying goods that fail its quality standards may be returned within six months after delivery at our risk and expense, with the remedy available under the Act, including the consumer’s choice of repair, replacement or refund where applicable. The nature and reasonable shelf life of food, storage and the circumstances of the fault matter; this is not a promise that every food item lasts six months. Opening packaging does not automatically defeat a valid defect claim. Statutory rights also apply to discounted goods.

5. Unavailable goods and refunds

If we cannot supply an item, we will notify you promptly and refund the amount due unless you expressly agree to an alternative or a later supply date. We aim to initiate an agreed refund within five business days, subject to any shorter legal deadline. Bank or payment-provider processing may add time; we will provide confirmation when the refund is initiated. Applicable statutory refund deadlines still apply.

We normally refund through the original payment method. We do not require you to accept store credit instead of a refund you are entitled to receive. No handling or restocking fee applies to a valid defect, incorrect-supply or other statutory refund claim. If a problem is unresolved, you may approach the National Consumer Commission, an applicable ombud or court.
